delayed write file error on a usb external hard drive?

Hello. I have a Seagate 250 GB external harddrive. first couple of times i've used it on a Asus F3F series Laptop (1.6 GHz core 2 duo, 2GB RAM) it worked as expected. then I used it on a desktop (Celeron 2,4 GHz, 1,5 GB RAM) and again no problems. copyed large amount of data on it (~ 10 GB). after that, i started getting the error "delayed write file" every time i tryed to use it, on various systems. only managed to make it run once after 4-5 system restart on the laptop...

Any advice would be welcomed

Delayed write error is usually associated with a "media error"... the drive has become faulty. There are other factors that could contribute, but if it was working before, and it isn't working now, it's probably the drive itself.
