Connecting an old Sharp portable stereo system with CD player, TV or PC as extra speakers?
I an old Sharp CD stereo system I prefer to use a speakerphone for my TV or PC. The problem is that the only link Externally, I do not see a headphone stereo 3.5 mm at the rear. The radio still works but the CD and the history of bands. It has no role AUX / MIC or outside. I remember my brother, before connecting your computer to your stereo when we were children using an S cable with stereo, I do not know if possible with a headphone jack. Suggestions? Coz its too bad the sound system is performed at home and I would use for my PC or TV.
You can always try to use the same cable that brother. Personally, I think is needed is for the production of sound instead of the entry, but you can try. It's not like you can hurt like that anyway, but not all production is sound. Depending on where you buy the cable, or quality that you buy in, usually under $ 20 ... or ask your brother cable, if so. To check beforehand whether it is an outlet or an outlet, simply plug a headset into it. If its fate during you're on the radio, so he is making out, if you hear anything, then it could be an entry for Jack, or simply be broken. Try!
