Media Player does not detect my CD?
Ok. I use Media Player 11 with Explorer 7. Well, I ripped and burned CD before using this notebook. This is an HP Compaq Presario. Click on the Options tab of players and devices that lists my DVD-RW burner. However, when I click the Burn tab image is loaded as an external device and says that to connect a recorder and then restart the drive. This is not an outsider and is built into this thing. This problem started recently and I burned all the CDs for a few months. However, I have never had this problem before. The media that I use on my desktop and not just an external HD I use I also use a USB flash drive input materials as well as many other things, connected via a USB hub. No problem. I sync this thing, but thats about it other than mining in the library. Any help out there with this?
Try using nero. Also, go to Start. run. type msconfig. go to the services tab and ensure that adequate service is not checked.
