External harddisk corrupted?
I downloaded a show on my external harddisk. But at one episode when I try to play it, the harddisk makes a quick clicking sound and then Media Player reports an error while playing the file. I checked some other files on the harddisk, and they still seem to be working. I'm also scanning the harddisk with a virusscanner to check for virusses now. But does the clicking sound mean there's something wrong with my external harddisk?
My external hard-disk is a FREECOM HARDDRIVE CLASSIC - External Hard Drive / 3.5" / USB 2.0 / WIN & MAC btw =]
From my past experience...your hard drive is ready to fail...back up all the data while you have a chance...
