How can I disable DMA for combo DVD drives in XP?
My combo drive is TSST Samsung. I get a CRC - Cyclic Check Redundancy - Error when installing some games (eg, Max Payne2). I tried the device manager der option, but no n DMA Configuration tab turnin off on 98 CD-ROM. you should try using registry keys? personalized copy some files and as a result I can in the game. Please help! Thanx
